About Patricia A. Berry

Patricia’s Story

Prophet/Pastor Patricia Berry is a woman who has a passion for preaching God’s word. Her mission is to use her testimony to draw others to our Lord and Savior. God has delivered her to a newfound world. Prophet/Pastor Berry was called to preach on September 19, 1999, and received her license to preach in October 2008. She became an ordained pastor in August 2019.

Prophet/Pastor Berry is one of ten siblings born on January 31, 1964, in Molena, Georgia, to the late Jewel Alberta Hughley and Mr. Willie Lee Hughley. Prophet/Pastor Berry is married to Paul J. Berry. She is the mother of four children, a daughter, and three sons. She has eleven grandchildren.

Prophet/Pastor Berry is a graduate of Griffin High School. She also received a degree in Medical Transcriptionist from Mansfield Business College in Charleston, South Carolina. In addition, Prophet/Pastor Berry attended AIU for Fashion Design.

Also, she has been a substitute teacher at Henry County Schools for sixteen years. Sewing has been her passion for forty-six years; it is a gift from God. Her designs include hats, clothing, preaching robes, drapes, and many other items.

Prophet/Pastor Berry currently holds several degrees. Associate of Art in Christian Ministries, Bachelor of Science in Christian Ministries, Certificate of Ministry and Leadership, Master of Science in Pastoral Counseling/ Life Coaching. She is also pursuing a Doctor of Ministry in Ministry Leadership/Pastoral Counseling.

At the early age of 12, she was saved and baptized at PGBC of Milner, Ga. She served on the Jr Usher Board and the Pastor’s Aide Committee, also sang in the Choir. Unfortunately, Prophet/Pastor Berry strayed away from God at 17, and she wandered in the wilderness for 12 years. Finally, in December 1989, Prophet/Pastor Berry moved to Charleston, SC. She was employed with the US Navy. Her job relocated to Dunoon, Scotland, where she worked as a first-class painter for six months on The USS Simon Lake.

She renewed her relationship with her Lord and Savior, Jesus, in April 1993; at 29, the Holy Spirit spoke to her in a college classroom in Charleston, SC. God instructed her to make peace with all her enemies. In May 1993, she moved back to her hometown Griffin GA.

Prophet/Pastor Berry attended Messiah Baptist Church, where she served on the usher board. Her most trying years were 1996 and 1997. Therefore, most of her testimonies come during this time. However, God filled her with the Holy Spirit, and she was chosen to preach the Gospel on September 19, 1999.

In 2003, she committed herself to World Changers Church Int’l, serving for five years. In October 2006, Prophet/Pastor Berry married the love of her life, the man she calls her Soul Mate, Mr. Paul J. Berry, of 15 years. In 2007 they became devoted servers at New Harvest Temple Christian Center; she served as a Prayer Intercessor, Praise Team, and Sang in the Choir. Prophet/Pastor Berry preached her initial sermon, titled “Who Am I and How Did I Get Here”, and was licensed as a Minister on October 11, 2008. By Apostle Montez Head.

In January 2009, she went through a significant transition in her life. God gave her visions, dreams, and instructions on what to do, where to go, and how to get there. She did not understand, but with help from the Holy Spirit, she could make it through the transition. While in this transition, she heard the words “FREE SPIRIT.”

In October 2009, she had an encounter with God standing at the top of Blue Ridge Mountain. Prophet/Pastor Berry received knowledge that she was a Prophet. June 2011 God used Apostle Evelyn Ponder to confirm that she had been chosen a Prophet in her mother’s womb.

In September 2012, a strong desire came upon her to commit herself to HRC Ministry, where Apostle P. Berry is the Pastor. And there, she learned about “The Healing of The Soul.” The Gift of Prophecy came forth, and the words “FREE SPIRIT” came to full fruition. It was transformed into Free Spirit Ministry International, Inc. It is the Lord doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes. Psalm 118:23

In 2015, Prophet/Pastor Berry became the author of her first book titled “A Godly Wife and a Worldly Husband, Can the Marriage Work?”

I want to thank all of those who have supported me on this journey. So many of you believed in me as I believe in God. It has not been easy, but worth it. And without God, your prayers, and encouraging words, none of this would be possible.
